Installing Backerboard
Most people call this product by one of several brand names. (“Durock®” and “WonderBoard®” are two common ones.) It’s the best material for do-it-yourselfers to use under floor tile and behind wall tile in damp areas. You use thinset mortar, screws and fiberglass mesh tape to install it.
