| Habitat
for Humanity: Minneapolis
The
Twin Cities (Minneapolis/St. Paul) chapter of Habitat for Humanity is about 11
years old. They've built over 100 homes in the metro area and completed 28 homes
last year. The
metro chapter works closely with local churches and civic organizations in order
to gather a basis of volunteers that work throughout the week (not just weekends)
so projects are completed faster. The
house that Hometime featured took 5 months to complete and is home to a recently-wed
mother and her family. Twin
