In researching our treehouse, we've come across several great treehouse resources on the web. Here are a few to get you started:

www.maui.net
A resort in Hawaii with some lavish treehouses in beautiful settings.

www.treehouses.com
An exhaustive approach to treehouse construction. There are some great pages with construction tips. They'll sell you specialized hardware and rent you the tools to install it. The proprietor will even travel to your location to build you a custom treehouse. There's also an amusing (and instructive) report of his eight-year struggles with the local building and zoning authorities over his treehouse resort and school.

A professional treehouse contractor, located in Seattle. There are some great ideas on display in their photo gallery of past projects.
