In this video we follow the addition of a pre-cut sunroom kit to a Folk Victorian farmhouse. While these kits are most often shown in a modern style, we show how to customize the kit with trim that matches that of the existing farmhouse.
Because most kit manufacturers require contractor installation, this tape focuses on the process and materials the contractor uses to build the sunroom. Featured steps include building and insulating the deck that serves as the platform, raising the cedar ridge beam and mullions that comprise the framework, custom flashing, installing the windows and glass ceiling panels, and interior and exterior finishes.
