Mansions of the Gilded Age

Dean Johnson and Robin Hartl explore an exclusive historic district in St. Paul, Minnesota, where dozens of Gilded-Age mansions are located just blocks from the downtown commercial district and the state capitol. They take a walking tour of the avenue, visiting a newly decorated Queen Anne-style home built in 1884 and two of the street's biggest mansions, including the huge Richardsonian Romanesque home built by railroad tycoon James J. Hill.
